The NGO contribution is at the centre of TA Hub’s value proposition. The collective knowledge of human trafficking as experienced by victims and those on the front line helping them is consistently the missing ingredient in creating preventative strategies against trafficking.

NGOs participating in TA Hub will be able to provide both narratives of victim experiences and structured data about trafficking methodologies, recruitment and routes. As data accumulates, this will form a highly detailed and granular global picture of trafficking, and NGOs will be better able to focus their trafficking prevention and intervention strategies.

Financial Services Institutions

Financial services institutions are obliged to assess the risk of exposure to money laundering and to act quickly if such activities are found.

Access to a large and rich data set that identifies business sectors and geographies that are high risk will enable new and effective ‘Know your customer’ work and massively enhance due diligence action.

Financial institutions using TA Hub are a huge impediment to traffickers trying to profit off trafficking activities.

Hotspot data will provide information about changing trends of trafficking allowing a faster response.

Law enforcement can contribute criminal typologies from their casework and benefit from leads into potentially new trafficking activity.

Business and commerce have immense power to suppress the financial opportunities of traffickers. Business sectors that are disproportionately vulnerable to trafficking are identified from TA Hub data analysis.

Hotspot data and typologies shared across these risk sectors will sensitize stakeholders to the issues and enable ways to fix potential issues, as well as prevent future ones.
